About Our Founder & President

Carly Atchison Bird is a fearless communications professional with experience at the highest levels of government and politics.

A native Virginian, Bird graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. before going to work on Capitol Hill. After working for members from Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota, Bird went to the National Republican Congressional Committee where she advised dozens of campaigns across the country, including in the swing states of Michigan and Wisconsin.

In 2020, Bird fled Washington’s lockdown mandates for Oklahoma to serve as Governor Kevin Stitt’s Communications Director and Senior Advisor, gaining invaluable experience in state government as the governor’s most trusted communications and political advisor. Notably, Bird successfully led the national messaging campaign in Oklahoma’s legal battles to protect the state’s sovereignty, culminating in a victorious ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court in Oklahoma v. Castro-Huerta.

Bird most recently served as the national spokeswoman for Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, appearing on national television to share DeSantis’ pro-freedom message with America. She was also responsible for crafting custom messaging strategy in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

Bird continues to offer political analysis on cable news networks and radio talk shows, while also publishing written editorials.

She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Eric, and their two rescue dogs, Sergeant and Riggins.
